Winners* receive badges to display on their website and HomeAdvisor profile so customers can see their achievements! Here, we’ve compiled a list of all the badges available with a few tips to help you win.
Types of Badges You Can Earn
Top-Rated Pro
To earn a Top-Rated Pro badge, homeowners you’ve worked for must give you a rating of four or more overall, and over 90 percent of reviewers should be willing to recommend you. You must have a minimum of five reviews and no homeowner complaints over the last six months.
Tip: Keep lines of communication open and provide the best service possible to your customers on a consistent basis.
Elite Service Pro
Elite Service Pros have a minimum of five reviews with a five-star rating and maintain an overall customer service rating of four-and-a-half or better. To earn this badge, you must have reviews from homeowners you’ve done work for and no outstanding complaints in the last six months.
Tip: Don’t be afraid to go above and beyond for your customers. Send a nice note or a small gift to homeowners once the job is done to say thank you for their business!
20 Homeowner Reviews
To receive a 20 Homeowner Reviews badge, you’ll need to be an active member of the HomeAdvisor network with 20+ reviews on your profile from homeowners you’ve worked for in the past.
Tip: Build a good relationship with customers while you’re on the job and ask politely for a review of your work once it’s complete. Send a link to your review page via email to make it easy.
50 Homeowner Reviews
A 50 Homeowner Reviews badge is given to pros who are current, active members of the HomeAdvisor network and have received 50+ homeowner reviews.
Tip: Entice homeowners to review your work by offering them a small discount on their next project.
100 Homeowner Reviews
A 100 Homeowner Reviews badge signifies that a pro is a current, active member of the HomeAdvisor network and has received over 100 reviews from homeowners.
Tip: Be sure to thank customers who leave you a good review and let them know how much you appreciate the favor.
Best of HomeAdvisor
The Best of HomeAdvisor Award is a yearly badge given to pros who are active members for a minimum of six months with no homeowner complaints in that time period. You must maintain a four-star rating or better and have earned at least three homeowner reviews in the last six months. Additionally, you must keep your leads on at least 75 percent of the time to win this award.
Tip: Customer service is key – explain what you’re doing and be upfront with homeowners about any problems that arise during a project. Stay friendly and professional on the job.
Seal of Approval
The Seal of Approval badge certifies that a pro has been screened and approved by HomeAdvisor, passed a background check and has verified licenses and insurance.
1 Year with HomeAdvisor
A 1 Year With HomeAdvisor badge shows that a pro is a current and active member of the HomeAdvisor network with no homeowner complaints in the last six months. It certifies the one year anniversary of your initial screening and approval.
3 Years with HomeAdvisor
3 Years With HomeAdvisor certifies that a pro is an active member of the HomeAdvisor network and has been for the past three years. You must have had no homeowner complaints in the last six months.
5 Years with HomeAdvisor
5 Years With HomeAdvisor is reserved for pros who have been screened and approved for five years. You must currently be an active member of the HomeAdvisor network with no homeowner complaints in the last six months.
10 Years with HomeAdvisor
Pros who receive a 10 Years With HomeAdvisor badge have spent a decade in the HomeAdvisor network since their initial screening and approval. You must have no homeowner complaints from the last six months.
Where to Find Your Badges
Follow the steps below to find your badges.
- Log in to your HomeAdvisor pro account or become a member.
- Click “Articles & Tools.”
- Click “Badges.”
- View your achievement badges (ones you’ve already earned) and see more badges you can earn if you meet the criteria.
*Qualifications to win: All winners must be part of the HomeAdvisor network for at least six months to qualify, with an average rating of four or more stars and at least three new reviews from the past six months.
