Use HomeAdvisor Pay as your payment method with all of your customers, even if you didn’t connect through HomeAdvisor. HomeAdvisor Pay is free, fast and convenient for you to use!

How do I request payment from a homeowner?

  1. Visit the Payments tab.
  1. Tap “Request a new payment” on the Request Payments tab.
  1. Type in the name, phone number, or email of the homeowner.
  1. Enter your request amount, project details, and any notes you would like to send to the homeowner.
  1. Review and tap Request to send. Your request will automatically send to your lead or the email address of your non-HomeAdvisor customer.
  1. If you send a payment request to the phone number of non-HomeAdvisor customer, please make sure to send the text message request.
  1. Add your bank account information to transfer payments as quickly as possible.

How does the homeowner pay me?

For homeowners who you connected with outside of HomeAdvisor:

  1. The homeowner clicks on the link from the email or text message payment request that you sent.
  1. This will prompt the homeowner to download or open the HomeAdvisor App. As soon as the homeowner opens the app, they will be prompted to make a payment.
  1. The homeowner will then be prompted to create an account or login if they already have an existing account.
  1. The homeowner enters the payment amount and confirms payment details.
  1. The payment is sent to you through the HomeAdvisor Pro app. It generally takes 1-5 business days for you to see the amount reflected in your bank account.

How does the homeowner pay me?

For homeowners who you connected with through HomeAdvisor:

  1. The homeowner selects your project from the “My Projects” section in the HomeAdvisor App.
  1. The homeowner taps the “Pay” button next to your business name.
  1. The homeowner enters the payment amount and confirms payment details.
  1. The payment is sent to you through the HomeAdvisor Pro app. It takes 1-5 business days for you to see the amount reflected in your bank account.
